This interview is a little different to the usual ones I put online. First of all, because it was conducted on the Instant Messenger on MySpace and secondly because I'm also going to give you a mini-profile of the band as well. I also want to take this opportunity to apologise to Paul for how long this took to get online - work, etc has been taking up far too much of my time lately!

Biography (from MySpace):
A year after the self-release of the "Dead In The Dollhouse" demo EP, gathering many positive feedback from fans and music environment, SadDoLLs found themselves again in the studio to record what would become their first full length debut album.
After the departure of some members during 2007, SadDoLLs had come with what would be the best alignment to carry on with their plans for the future. The band's sound changed and became heavier, leaving space for more experimentation with different styles of gothic music as well as developing elements from electro and metal influences.
The band has performed in numerous venues in Athens, collaborating with several remarkable bands from the Greek music scene. Among the live shows that SadDoLLs count on their behalf, they achieved to perform as the support band for the German Gothic Rockers "Lacrimas Profundere" back in April 2008, receiving many and very good reviews from the media.
The upcoming debut album called "About Darkness..." includes 12 tracks and has a total length of almost 50 minutes. The whole album development took over 8 months to complete throughout 2008-2009, combining the great cooperation and ideas between the band and "Fragile Studios" owner Vangelis Yalamas.
SadDoLLs recently signed with "Emotion Art Music", under their promotion and management the album release is set for September 2009 along with the first video clip coming out around summer.
Recently, SadDoLLs had two live appearances on Greek TV channel shows such as MAD’s "Mad Day Live" and Ant1’s "Radio Arvyla". Future performances are being scheduled on a regular basis allowing the band to express its charisma and attitude on stage.
The Interview: Lou - LouciferSpeaks.com: For the benefit of the readers who may not be familiar with you, how long has SadDolls been together?
PauL EviLRose: SadDoLLs born in 2006,in Athens.
I started the band and with some changes in the line up we have been together almost 3 years:-)
Lou - LouciferSpeaks.com: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment in that time?
PauL EviLRose: hm.. lets say... that..our biggest accomplishment was that we played last year with a famous gothic rock band LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE :-)

Lou - LouciferSpeaks.com: Which bands do you feel have influenced your sound the most?
PauL EviLRose: we are infulenced by many finish bands such as HIM-the 69 eyes-charon and other bands that play gothic rock etc. We started composing songs at the beginning that sounded exactly like HIM, but we decided to make our own and personal sound with more heavy riffs and electro goth spirits

Do you have a release date for it yet?
PauL EviLRose: we release our debut album called:''About Darknes...'' finally in September:-) and we are relly excited

PauL EviLRose: yeah of course...well....our album is a variety of many styles around gothic rock etc...it combines a heavy sound with dark melodies,electro keyboards and low tuned vocals...it contains 12 tracks and every track is different..they have another feeling...the singles of this album will be:''watch me crawl behind'' ''bleed all i can''' & '''Life Equals Zero''

PauL EviLRose: The album will be all over Greece and Europe

PauL EviLRose: of course..we ll tour Greece and may countries in Europe like switscherland and Germany maybe. Well..you know..promoters dont easily bring underground bands like SadDoLLs:P
